TOPIC 01 · 0.5% MSME FINAL TAX & PP NO. 20 OF 2026

2027 0.5% Final Tax Eligibility,
OP, PT Perorangan, CV, and PT.

Verified official facts on the amendment of PP No. 55 of 2022 by PP No. 20 of 2026 (promulgated 22 April 2026), removal of year caps for Individual Taxpayers & PT Perorangan, and mandatory full bookkeeping for CVs and standard PTs starting in Tax Year 2027.

Which taxpayers remain eligible to use the 0.5% MSME Final Tax in Tax Year 2027 under Government Regulation (PP) No. 20 of 2026?

Under Government Regulation (PP) No. 20 of 2026 (promulgated and effective 22 April 2026, amending PP No. 55 of 2022), taxpayers eligible to use the 0.5% Final Tax rate on gross turnover up to IDR 4.8 billion per tax year are: (1) Individual Taxpayers (WP OP), (2) Single-Member LLCs (PT Perorangan founded by 1 individual), and (3) Domestic Cooperatives. PP No. 20 of 2026 repealed the multi-year cap in Article 59 of PP 55/2022 for Individual Taxpayers and PT Perorangan, so the 0.5% rate applies without a year limit as long as combined gross turnover stays within IDR 4.8 billion/year and does not come from independent professional services. Cooperatives remain capped at 4 tax years from registration.

What are the tax rules for CVs, Firmas, and standard multi-shareholder PTs entering Tax Year 2027?

Under PP No. 20 of 2026, Limited Partnerships (CV), Firmas, and non-single-member Limited Liability Companies (PT) are excluded from the 0.5% MSME Final Tax regime, with transitional provisions ending at the close of Tax Year 2026. Starting in Tax Year 2027, CVs, Firmas, and standard PTs can no longer pay 0.5% of gross turnover; they must maintain full bookkeeping (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet under PMK 54/PMK.03/2021) and calculate Corporate Income Tax under general Article 17 rules (22% of taxable profit). Domestic corporate taxpayers with total turnover up to IDR 50 billion remain eligible for the 50% rate reduction under Article 31E on taxable profit attributable to turnover up to IDR 4.8 billion (an effective 11% rate on fiscal net profit).

Does the IDR 500 million annual tax-free turnover threshold apply to PT Perorangan as well as Individual Taxpayers, and how does turnover aggregation work?

The 0% income tax exemption on the first IDR 500 million of annual gross turnover applies exclusively to Individual Taxpayers (WP OP) under PP No. 55 of 2022 as amended by PP No. 20 of 2026. For Single-Member LLCs (PT Perorangan) and Cooperatives, the 0.5% Final Tax rate applies from the first rupiah of monthly gross turnover. Furthermore, PP No. 20 of 2026 enforces anti-fragmentation rules by aggregating gross turnover across all business locations, spouse businesses, and related PT Perorangan entities when testing the IDR 4.8 billion annual ceiling.

Which business activities or professions are excluded from the 0.5% MSME Final Tax facility?

Under PP No. 55 of 2022 as amended by PP No. 20 of 2026, income excluded from the 0.5% MSME Final Tax includes: (1) income from independent professional services—such as doctors, lawyers, accountants, consultants, notaries, land deed officials, architects, appraisers, actuaries, insurance agents, as well as content creators and influencers—which must use general Income Tax rules; (2) income already subject to separate Final Income Tax provisions (such as construction services under Article 4(2), land/building rentals, or property transfers); and (3) foreign-sourced income subject to or taxed abroad.

TOPIC 02 · E-FAKTUR & MONTHLY VAT RETURNS IN CORETAX

The 20th e-Faktur deadline, Monthly VAT Returns,
and Coretax role delegation.

Official provisions under PMK No. 81 of 2024, PER-11/PJ/2025, and PMK No. 44 of 2026 covering Output e-Faktur upload deadlines, month-end VAT return filing, and safe draft preparation via Impersonate & Assign Role without sharing main passwords.

What are the official deadlines for uploading e-Faktur and filing Monthly VAT Returns (SPT Masa PPN) in Coretax DJP?

Under Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 81 of 2024 and DJP Regulation PER-11/PJ/2025 governing the Core Tax Administration System (Coretax DJP): (1) Output Tax Invoices (e-Faktur) must be created via the e-Faktur module in the Coretax Taxpayer Portal and uploaded for DJP approval no later than the 20th of the month following the end of the tax period; (2) payment of any VAT payable and submission of the Monthly VAT Return (SPT Masa PPN) must be completed no later than the end of the month following the tax period. Tax invoices uploaded past the statutory deadline are not recognized as valid Tax Invoices.

How can a company authorize staff or a draft preparer in Coretax without sharing its main corporate account password?

Under official Coretax DJP guidance, taxpayers must never share main account passwords, electronic certificate passphrases, or OTP codes with anyone. Within the Coretax Taxpayer Portal, a corporate taxpayer designates representatives/officers or assigns specific roles (such as Drafter to prepare draft Tax Invoices and returns, or Signer to sign and submit) using the official Assign Role and Impersonate features. The appointed person logs in with their own personal NIK/NPWP account and impersonates the corporate entity within their granted role, while tax representation rights and obligations follow PMK No. 44 of 2026.

When must an MSME register as a VAT-Registered Entrepreneur (PKP) and collect VAT in Coretax?

Under the VAT Law and PMK No. 81 of 2024, businesses supplying taxable goods (BKP) and/or taxable services (JKP) whose gross turnover and/or gross receipts exceed IDR 4.8 billion in a fiscal year must apply for VAT Entrepreneur (PKP) registration no later than the end of the month following the month in which turnover crosses IDR 4.8 billion. Businesses with annual turnover up to IDR 4.8 billion are classified as small entrepreneurs exempt from mandatory VAT collection, unless they voluntarily elect to register as PKP.

TOPIC 03 · 16-DIGIT NIK-AS-NPWP INTEGRATION & NITKU

16-digit NIK as NPWP, Corporate NPWP,
and 22-digit NITKU replacing Branch NPWPs.

Official rules under PMK 112/PMK.03/2022 as amended by PMK No. 136 of 2023 and PMK No. 81 of 2024 on matching national ID (NIK) as Individual NPWP, 16-digit Corporate NPWP format, and NITKU usage in Coretax e-Faktur and e-Bupot.

How do the rules for using 16-digit NIK as NPWP and 16-digit Corporate NPWP work in Coretax?

Under PMK No. 112/PMK.03/2022 as amended by PMK No. 136 of 2023 and PMK No. 81 of 2024: (1) for Individual Taxpayers who are Indonesian residents, the 16-digit National Identity Number (NIK on the KTP) officially serves as their NPWP across all Coretax DJP administrative services once matched and validated with civil registry (Dukcapil) records; (2) for Corporate Taxpayers, Government Agencies, and Non-Resident Individuals, the NPWP uses a 16-digit format created by prefixing a leading zero ("0") to the former 15-digit NPWP.

What is the 22-digit NITKU and why are separate Branch NPWPs replaced in Coretax?

Under PMK 112/PMK.03/2022 as amended by PMK No. 136 of 2023 and official Coretax DJP guidance, the Business Activity Location Identity Number (NITKU) is a 22-digit identifier (consisting of the 16-digit central NPWP plus a 6-digit location sequence number) that replaces Branch NPWPs. In Coretax, tax payment and tax return filing obligations are centralized under a single headquarters NPWP, while NITKU identifies specific branch or outlet locations on Tax Invoices (e-Faktur), withholding tax slips (e-Bupot), and sub-unit profiles.

How does recording the buyer’s 16-digit NIK/NPWP and NITKU affect e-Faktur issuance in Coretax?

Under PMK No. 81 of 2024, a valid Tax Invoice must contain accurate, complete, and clear particulars, including the buyer’s Name, Address, and 16-digit NPWP or NIK (for domestic individual buyers) as well as the receiving location’s NITKU when the buyer operates multiple business locations. Mismatched 16-digit NPWP/NIK data or an incorrect branch NITKU on a draft Output e-Faktur can require invoice replacement/cancellation or prevent the counterparty from crediting Input VAT.

NERACIA POSITIONING · DONE BY PEOPLE, NOT SOFTWARE

Not accounting software you have to fill in yourself.
Done directly by a human operator.

Many business owners already subscribe to accounting software or use spreadsheet templates, yet their reports still fall behind because no one has time to check receipts and reconcile bank statements. Neracia is a human-delivered service—not a self-service app.

Why business owners choose a human-operated service over a software subscription alone
Work Aspect Self-Service Accounting Software (App Only) Neracia (Human-Operated + Recorded Self-Check)
Who does the work each month? You or your internal staff must spend time entering transactions, selecting chart-of-account codes, and matching bank statements inside the app yourself.Carried out directly by a person (Neracia’s human operator). You supply bank statements and transaction documents; we organize, reconcile and prepare the reports.
When documents are missing or bank balances differSoftware simply adds up whatever was typed. If entries are duplicated, misclassified or missing evidence, charts still render as if everything were accurate.A human operator checks supporting evidence line by line (recorded self-check), isolates unclear items into an open-action register, and reviews them with your contact.
Readiness for new tax rules (PP 20/2026 & Coretax VAT)Software only provides form fields; you still have to interpret regulations yourself to check 0.5% Final Tax eligibility or Coretax invoice codes. We prepare workpapers referenced to official rules (PP 20/2026, PMK 81/2024), track the 20th-of-month e-Faktur deadline, and organize review-ready materials for your authorization.
Relationship with tools you already useRequires migrating into a specific app and paying recurring subscription fees even during busy months when nobody has time to input data.No forced software migration. We can work from CSV/Excel exports of your existing tool or raw source documents, and hand over complete files that you own.

What about local tools and AI at Neracia?

We use deterministic calculations for numerical accuracy and use AI only in a limited way to help structure explanations—always with human review before handover, and without uploading confidential client documents to public AI services.
