MSME Tax Calendar: Final Tax, Coretax VAT & Annual Returns.
Complete guide to monthly and annual tax payment and filing deadlines for Individual Taxpayers, Single-Member LLCs (PT Perorangan), CVs, Firmas, standard PTs, and Cooperatives. Every date strictly follows official provisions under PP No. 20 of 2026 (amending PP 55/2022), PMK No. 81 of 2024 (Coretax DJP), PER-11/PJ/2025, and the KUP Law from official government domains (pajak.go.id, peraturan.go.id, jdih.kemenkeu.go.id).
Through PMK No. 81 of 2024 and PER-11/PJ/2025, the government standardized monthly tax payment deadlines to the 15th of the following month and monthly Income Tax return filing / e-Faktur uploads to the 20th of the following month, while Monthly VAT Returns remain due at the end of the following month.
MONTHLY TAX OBLIGATION
0.5% MSME Final Tax (PP 20/2026 — Self-Paid)
Applicable Taxpayers: Individual Taxpayers (turnover > IDR 500M to IDR 4.8B/year), PT Perorangan (turnover up to IDR 4.8B/year), and eligible Cooperatives
Payment Deadline: No later than the 15th (fifteenth) of the month following the end of the tax period (PMK No. 81 of 2024 in conjunction with PP No. 55 of 2022 & PP No. 20 of 2026).
Filing / Upload Deadline: Taxpayers who self-pay the 0.5% Final Tax and receive NTPN validation are deemed to have filed their monthly return on the NTPN validation date, or report via the Unified Monthly Income Tax Return (SPT Masa PPh Unifikasi) no later than the 20th of the following month in Coretax DJP.
For Individual Taxpayers, the first IDR 500 million of annual gross turnover is exempt (0%); monthly payment starts only in the month cumulative annual turnover exceeds IDR 500 million. For PT Perorangan, 0.5% applies from the first rupiah of turnover.
Applicable Taxpayers: MSME sales/service transactions with a tax withholder where the taxpayer provides a valid PP 55/2022 / PP 20/2026 Certificate (Surat Keterangan)
Payment Deadline: Paid by the Tax Withholder/Collector no later than the 15th (fifteenth) of the month following the end of the tax period (standardized under PMK No. 81 of 2024).
Filing / Upload Deadline: Reported by the Tax Withholder/Collector via the Unified Monthly Income Tax Return (SPT Masa PPh Unifikasi) in Coretax DJP no later than the 20th of the following month.
Ensure the counterparty issues a Unified Withholding Slip (e-Bupot Unifikasi) in Coretax DJP so turnover already withheld at 0.5% is not double-paid during monthly reconciliation.
Payment Deadline: Tax Invoices must be created upon delivery of taxable goods/services or upon receipt of payment (whichever occurs first under the VAT Law & PMK 81/2024).
Filing / Upload Deadline: Output e-Faktur must be uploaded via the Coretax DJP e-Faktur module for DJP approval no later than the 20th (twentieth) of the month following the end of the tax period (PER-11/PJ/2025 & PMK 81/2024).
An e-Faktur not uploaded and approved by DJP by the 20th of the following month is not recognized as a valid Tax Invoice and cannot be credited as Input VAT by the buyer.
VAT Payable Settlement & Monthly VAT Return (SPT Masa PPN) in Coretax
Applicable Taxpayers: All Individual and Corporate VAT-Registered Entrepreneurs (PKP)
Payment Deadline: Payment of any underpaid VAT must be completed no later than the end of the month following the tax period and prior to filing the Monthly VAT Return (PMK No. 81 of 2024).
Filing / Upload Deadline: Filing of the Monthly VAT Return (SPT Masa PPN) must be completed no later than the end of the month following the tax period via the Coretax DJP Taxpayer Portal (PMK No. 81 of 2024).
Reconcile all approved Output e-Faktur (approved by the 20th) against creditable Input Tax Invoices in the Coretax dashboard at least 3–5 business days before month-end.
Applicable Taxpayers: Employers, withholders on services/rent/dividends, and general-regime Individual/Corporate taxpayers paying Article 25 monthly installments
Payment Deadline: No later than the 15th (fifteenth) of the month following the end of the tax period (PMK No. 81 of 2024 standardized monthly tax payment deadlines to the 15th).
Filing / Upload Deadline: Monthly Article 21/26 and Unified Income Tax Returns must be filed no later than the 20th of the following month in Coretax DJP. For Article 25 installments, NTPN payment validation counts as filing.
Entering Tax Year 2027, CVs, Firmas, and standard PTs transitioning from the 0.5% Final Tax to general Corporate Income Tax must track monthly Article 25 installment duties due on the 15th.
Under the KUP Law (Law No. 6 of 1983 as amended by Law No. 7 of 2021) and PMK No. 81 of 2024, statutory filing deadlines differ between Individual Taxpayers (3 months after tax year-end) and Corporate Taxpayers (4 months after tax year-end). Pay special attention to how PP No. 20 of 2026 affects required return attachments.
Applicable Taxpayers: All Individual Taxpayers (whether using the 0.5% Final Tax under PP 20/2026, Deemed Profit Norms / NPPN, or full bookkeeping)
Annual Underpayment Deadline (Art. 29): Settlement of any annual tax underpayment (Individual Article 29 Income Tax, if applicable) must be paid before the Annual Tax Return is filed, no later than the end of the third month after the close of the tax year (31 March for a calendar fiscal year).
Annual Return Filing Deadline in Coretax: No later than 3 (three) months after the end of the tax year — 31 March each year for a 1 January to 31 December fiscal year — via the Coretax DJP Taxpayer Portal (KUP Law & PMK No. 81 of 2024).
MSME Individual Taxpayers must attach a 12-month gross turnover register by business location (even if annual turnover is ≤ IDR 500 million with IDR 0 tax), payment/withholding records, and year-end asset and liability schedules.
Annual Corporate Income Tax Return (PT Perorangan, CV, Firma, Standard PT & Cooperative)
Applicable Taxpayers: All domestic Corporate Taxpayers: PT Perorangan (eligible for 0.5% Final Tax in 2027), Cooperatives, as well as CVs, Firmas, and standard PTs (subject to general Corporate Tax & full bookkeeping starting Tax Year 2027 under PP 20/2026)
Annual Underpayment Deadline (Art. 29): Settlement of any annual corporate tax underpayment (Corporate Article 29 Income Tax) must be paid before the Corporate Annual Tax Return is filed, no later than the end of the fourth month after the close of the tax year (30 April for a calendar fiscal year).

Key PP No. 20 of 2026 transition note: The Tax Year 2026 Corporate Return (due 30 April 2027) establishes the 31 December 2026 closing Balance Sheet that serves as the 1 January 2027 Opening Balance Sheet for CVs, Firmas, and standard PTs transitioning to full bookkeeping and general Article 17 (22%) / Article 31E (11% effective) corporate tax.

SECTION 03 · NERACIA HUMAN OPERATOR WORKFLOW RHYTHM
So work never piles up on the 15th, 20th, or month-end.
Late tax payments or missed e-Faktur uploads usually happen because turnover summaries and bank reconciliations start the day before the deadline. In Neracia’s monthly service, a human operator prepares materials early across four structured stages:
01
Days 1–5: Collect bank & invoice records
You share the prior month’s bank statements, sales summaries by branch/outlet, issued sales invoices, supplier bills, and withholding slips received.
02
Days 6–12: Prepare Income Tax before the 15th
The human operator reconciles turnover and prepares 0.5% Final Tax (PP 20/2026) or Art. 21/Unified workpapers with a recorded self-check ahead of the 15th payment deadline.
03
Days 13–18: Check e-Faktur & PPh returns before the 20th
Verify customer 16-digit NPWP/NIK/NITKU details on draft Output e-Faktur and Monthly PPh Returns so they are ready for upload/authorization before the 20th.
04
Day 21 to 3 Days Before Month-End: Draft Monthly VAT Return
Cross-check Input Tax Invoices against payment evidence, compute net VAT payable/overpaid, and prepare the draft SPT Masa PPN before month-end.

NERACIA POSITIONING · DONE BY PEOPLE, NOT SOFTWARE
Not accounting software you have to fill in yourself. Done directly by a human operator.
Many business owners already subscribe to accounting software or use spreadsheet templates, yet their reports still fall behind because no one has time to check receipts and reconcile bank statements. Neracia is a human-delivered service—not a self-service app.
Why business owners choose a human-operated service over a software subscription alone
Work Aspect
Self-Service Accounting Software (App Only)
Neracia (Human-Operated + Recorded Self-Check)
Who does the work each month?
You or your internal staff must spend time entering transactions, selecting chart-of-account codes, and matching bank statements inside the app yourself.
Carried out directly by a person (Neracia’s human operator). You supply bank statements and transaction documents; we organize, reconcile and prepare the reports.
When documents are missing or bank balances differ
Software simply adds up whatever was typed. If entries are duplicated, misclassified or missing evidence, charts still render as if everything were accurate.
A human operator checks supporting evidence line by line (recorded self-check), isolates unclear items into an open-action register, and reviews them with your contact.
Readiness for new tax rules (PP 20/2026 & Coretax VAT)
Software only provides form fields; you still have to interpret regulations yourself to check 0.5% Final Tax eligibility or Coretax invoice codes.
We prepare workpapers referenced to official rules (PP 20/2026, PMK 81/2024), track the 20th-of-month e-Faktur deadline, and organize review-ready materials for your authorization.
Relationship with tools you already use
Requires migrating into a specific app and paying recurring subscription fees even during busy months when nobody has time to input data.
No forced software migration. We can work from CSV/Excel exports of your existing tool or raw source documents, and hand over complete files that you own.
What about local tools and AI at Neracia?
We use deterministic calculations for numerical accuracy and use AI only in a limited way to help structure explanations—always with human review before handover, and without uploading confidential client documents to public AI services.
