Scope & quote

We agree the work, records, timing and price before starting. Broader services are quoted separately from the two bounded pilots.

Service scope

Organize the records before the next decision.

Useful for organizing a backlog, preparing a repeatable books-and-close workflow, or reviewing accounts across currencies. The entry pilots remain a distinct, bounded starting point.

A defined starting point: see the data cleanup pilot and its exact limits. Broader work needs a separate scope and quote.

  • Cleanup, catch-up and recurring books

Standardize agreed export fields, preserve source references and flag gaps or duplicate candidates. Catch-up periods and a recurring preparation workflow can be scoped and quoted separately. Monthly bookkeeping follows an agreed period, record checklist and review cadence. Catch-up reconstructs agreed periods from supplied records and confirmed opening balances, with evidence gaps logged for review.

  • Chart of accounts (COA) and general ledger (GL)

Discuss account structures, client-approved mappings, ledger preparation and supporting schedules. Agree the desired changes, opening balances and review process; the client approves classifications and posting.

  • Bank reconciliation and month-end close

Compare supplied bank and ledger records, retain unmatched items and prepare agreed account schedules. Broader close preparation requires a separate scope from the one-account, one-month reconciliation pilot.

  • Multicurrency records

Discuss currency-specific records, translation or revaluation workpapers using client-approved rate sources, dates, methods and accounting policy. Multicurrency may be quoted separately; it is not automatically included in the pilots.

  • Draft journals and approval

Prepare agreed proposed entries with calculations, sources and explanations. Your firm approves accounting treatment and journals before posting and retains final sign-off.

From input to handoff

Make the review practical.

A defined set of records and outputs makes your review straightforward.

To define the assignment

Inputs to scope

  • The entities, periods, bank accounts, currencies and approximate source-row/file counts.
  • The available COA, GL exports, opening/closing balances and desired preparation output.
  • Client-approved mappings, currency rate sources and dates, policies and known evidence gaps.

Your handoff

Reviewable handoff

  • Prepared records and source-linked COA/GL workpapers for the agreed task.
  • Bank-to-ledger reconciliation and agreed close schedules with unmatched items visible.
  • If scoped: multicurrency calculations, rate-source notes and draft journals for client approval.
  • A change log, exceptions and period checklist appropriate to the agreed scope.

Fictional workpaper

A ledger you can trace

A practical handoff

Define the work. Keep the decisions clear.

A preparation assignment begins with a specific task and an agreed reviewer.

  1. Describe the task

Share the output you need, approximate volume, period and relevant jurisdiction. Keep client records and identifiers out of the initial inquiry.

  2. Confirm fit and scope

Agree a restricted channel, recipients and retention before sharing files. Review a suitable sample, then agree outputs, timing and final price.

  3. Prepare and hand back

For accepted work, Neracia prepares and self-checks the agreed files. Your firm reviews exceptions, approves decisions and retains final sign-off.

Before preparation begins: scope, final price and payment terms are agreed in writing before issuing an invoice. Work starts after the agreed payment is received. Extra volume or complexity is quoted before work begins.

A clear handoff. Decisions stay with you.

Client review and approval

You approve accounting policies, classifications, rates, adjustments and final posting. Management reports and schedules carry no assurance.

Client-owned payments

Payment execution remains client-owned. You approve and execute payments and send communications. Neracia does not request live bank credentials, passwords or OTPs.

Specialist services

Independent foreign tax advice and filing/sign-off require an appropriate local qualified provider. Specialist tax, CFO, incorporation, dissolution and EOR/hiring requests require a separate qualification and delivery-availability check. No provider is represented as secured.

Before an assignment

A few practical questions.

Know what to send and what you will receive.

Can this start as a small assignment?

Yes. The existing cleanup and reconciliation pilots retain their exact limits and one revision. COA, GL, multicurrency, larger backlogs and recurring or broader close preparation are separately discussed and quoted.

What should I include in a quote request?

Describe the task, desired output, period and approximate record volume. Keep client records, identifiers, passwords and OTPs out of your first message.
